Your work profile

  • We are looking for an experienced IT PMO professional with 6–9 years of experience to support project governance, delivery oversight, and portfolio management across multiple IT initiatives. The role involves ensuring adherence to project management standards, driving reporting and visibility, managing risks and dependencies, and enabling successful delivery of projects within scope, time, cost, and quality.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Project & Program Governance
  • Establish and enforce project management standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks across all IT projects and programs.
  • Support project kick-off, stage-gate reviews, and closure activities.
  • Planning, Tracking & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, and milestones.
  • Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Prepare and publish regular status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Provide insights on schedule variance, cost variance, and delivery risks.
  • Financial & Resource Management
  • Track project budgets, forecasts, and actuals; highlight cost risks and overruns.
  • Support resource planning, utilization tracking, and capacity management.
  • Assist in vendor and partner coordination from a PMO perspective.
  • Risk, Issue & Change Management
  • Identify, assess, and track project risks and issues; ensure timely mitigation.
  • Support change control processes and impact analysis.
  • Proactively escalate critical risks and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
  • Act as a central coordination point between project managers, delivery teams, and leadership.
  • Facilitate project review meetings, steering committees, and governance forums.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across multiple teams.
  • Process Improvement & PMO Maturity
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes and templates.
  • Support PMO maturity initiatives, audits, and standardization efforts.
  • Mentor junior PMO members and guide project teams on PMO practices.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications

 

 

Key skills required

Must-Have

  • 6–9 years of experience in IT PMO / Project Management Office roles.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Hands-on experience in project tracking, reporting, and governance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously.

Tools & Systems

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools (MS Project / JIRA / Azure DevOps or similar).
  • Experience in creating dashboards and management reports (Power BI or equivalent preferred).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Certifications (Preferred)

    • PMP / PRINCE2 / PMI-ACP / SAFe (good to have, not mandatory).
