Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Oracle EPM implementations, enhancements, production support, and transformation initiatives.
2. Provide solution architecture and technical leadership across the Oracle EPM stack, including Hyperion Planning, EPBCS/PBCS, Essbase, FCCS, ARCS, PCM, and EDM.
3. Design and review Essbase BSO/ASO applications, dimensional models, forms, business rules, calculations, reports, and security.
4. Lead complex Calculation Manager and Essbase calculation development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
5. Drive EPM integrations using Data Management/Data Integration, FDMEE, ODI, EPM Automate, REST APIs, SQL, and file-based integrations.
6. Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve data loading, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
7. Lead performance tuning of EPM applications, including calculation scripts, block creation, data volumes, aggregations, and integration performance.
8. Conduct business requirement workshops and translate business requirements into scalable EPM technical solutions.
9. Manage project delivery including estimation, planning, resource allocation, design, development, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support.
10. Act as a senior client-facing EPM advisor, leading solution discussions, technical walkthroughs, status meetings, and escalations.
11. Manage multiple EPM workstreams and ensure delivery within agreed scope, timelines, quality, and budget.
12. Lead and mentor EPM consultants and technical teams, providing guidance on architecture, development standards, troubleshooting, and best practices.
13. Establish and enforce EPM development, testing, deployment, security, and governance standards across projects.
14. Review technical designs, estimates, code/calculation scripts, integration processes, and deployment plans to ensure quality and maintainability.
15. Drive Oracle EPM Cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises Hyperion environments to Cloud EPM where applicable.
16. Work closely with Finance, Business, IT, Infrastructure, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and EPM solutions.
17. Manage production incidents, root-cause analysis, technical escalations, and coordination with Oracle Support for complex product issues.
18. Contribute to EPM Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives by developing reusable frameworks, automation solutions, standards, and accelerators.
19. Support business development, solution proposals, effort estimation, RFP/RFI responses, and pre-sales activities for Oracle EPM opportunities.
20. Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, performance optimization, and adoption of emerging Oracle EPM capabilities.
