Job Summary:

The PMO Manager plays a strategic role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the organization. Acting as a centralized hub for project governance, the PMO ensures that all initiatives align with business objectives, follow standardized methodologies, and deliver measurable value. This role involves managing resources, mitigating risks, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance & Standards:
  • Develop and enforce project management frameworks, methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile), and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Oversight:
  • Monitor project performance across departments, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Provide strategic oversight and support to project managers and teams.
  • Portfolio Management:
  • Align projects with strategic goals and prioritize initiatives based on business value.
  • Manage interdependencies and resource allocation across the project portfolio.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Generate and present performance reports, dashboards, and insights to senior leadership.
  • Track KPIs and project health metrics to identify risks and improvement areas.
  • Training & Development:
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for project managers and team members.
  • Promote continuous learning and adoption of project management tools and techniques.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, executives, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a PMO leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex portfolios.
