Cloudera Infrastructure Administrator| Ahmedabad | Engineering | Data Modernization & Migration

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in administer and support Cloudera CDP/CDH clusters.
  • Manage Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning.
  • Handle Linux server administration, patching, and capacity management.
  • Implement security using Kerberos, LDAP/AD, and Ranger.
  • Automate routine tasks using Shell/Python scripting.
  • Support incident management, RCA, upgrades, and maintenance activities.

 

Required Skills

  • 3–6 years of Cloudera/Hadoop administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloudera Manager, CDP/CDH.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
  • Experience with HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kafka.
  • Knowledge of Kerberos, LDAP, Ranger, and cluster security.
  • Scripting skills in Shell and/or Python.
  • Good troubleshooting and production support experience.

 

Nice to Have: AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, CDE/CDW Ansible, Grafana, Prometheus, DevOps exposure.
