Prime Responsibilities

• Project Delivery:

• Review EIAs, EMPs, baseline studies, and risk assessments prepared by the project team.
• Provide comments, corrections, and recommendations to improve environmental documentation.
• Ensure all environmental documents meet regulatory requirements and best‑practice standards.
• Validate data quality, methodologies, and proposed mitigation measures.
• Provide expert advice on environmental laws, rules, and approval procedures.
• Suggest corrective and preventive actions for identified compliance gaps.
• Review project schedules, environmental timelines, and deliverable trackers prepared by others.
• Identify risks, delays, and gaps in environmental planning and provide advisory guidance.
• Participate in meetings only to offer expert feedback.
• Review materials prepared for public consultations or hearings and provide advisory suggestions.
• Advise on addressing stakeholder queries and regulatory expectations.
• Review compliance reports, monitoring summaries, and site observations prepared by others.
• Provide comments on environmental performance and potential improvements.
• Validate final environmental documents before submission to regulatory bodies.
• Conduct site visits when required.
• Provide advisory inputs on environmental safeguards and implementation status.

• Thought Leadership / Point of View (PoV) development:
• Research and analysis on industry issues, issue definition for industry/clients
• Capturing analysis findings and Deloitte’s unique points of view on topical issues with guidance from senior practitioners
