Your work profile

As an Analyst/Consultant within Deloitte's Sourcing & Procurement Advisory practice, you will support end-to-end procurement transformation and sourcing engagements across multiple industries. The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management capabilities, procurement domain expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.

You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, supporting sourcing and procurement transformation initiatives, developing analytical insights, preparing client-ready deliverables, facilitating workshops, and coordinating project activities to ensure successful execution of client engagements. The role will involve working closely with procurement leaders, category managers, sourcing teams, and technology implementation teams to drive business outcomes.

  • Support strategic sourcing and procurement transformation initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories, identifying value creation and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct spend analytics, market intelligence, supplier assessments, benchmarking, and category opportunity assessments to support sourcing strategies.
  • Assist in the development and execution of category strategies, sourcing pipelines, supplier selection, and negotiation preparation activities.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into functional specifications, process designs, and solution recommendations.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and working sessions to align business, procurement, and technology teams on project objectives and outcomes.
  • Assess current-state procurement processes and support the design of future-state operating models, governance frameworks, and standardized ways of working.
  • Develop process documentation, SOPs, process maps, business cases, and executive-level presentations to support client decision-making.
  • Support the implementation of procurement technologies and digital transformation solutions, including Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Supplier Management platforms.
  • Drive process improvement, automation, and change management initiatives to improve procurement effectiveness, compliance, and user adoption.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure alignment across global and regional business units.
  • Track project deliverables, milestones, risks, dependencies, and timelines while supporting governance forums, status reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to engagement management, knowledge development, proposal support, and practice-building initiatives within the Sourcing & Procurement Advisory practice.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in Procurement Consulting, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement Operations, Supply Chain Consulting, or Procurement Transformation.
  • Experience supporting sourcing and procurement transformation engagements.
  • Exposure to procurement processes including Source-to-Contract (S2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supplier Management, and Category Management.
  • Experience working with global and multicultural teams.
  • Familiarity with procurement technology platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Ivalua, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar solutions.
  • B. Com / BBA / BMS or similar three-year graduate course
  • M.Com / MBA or similar two year post graduate course
