The teamporate Development team drives the inorganic growth agenda for Consulting businesses to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing and augmenting capabilities and offerings, thereby strengthening our competitive positioning 

Your work profile

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant / Manager in our Corporate Development team, you will:

• Work towards fulfilling avenues for inorganic growth through multiple acquisition modes and transactions
• Create financial models and business cases, analyze financial statements and ratios, project financial performance and scenarios and deep dive into relevant ratios. Perform analyses that will provide valuable actionables and information for management as well as timely insights to various departments.
• Draft investment related materials and collaborate with AP and Global teams to obtain investments
• Support a variety of strategic efforts including helping create annual/long-term strategic plans including ensuring that this process is timely, focused, and value adding
• Play a highly collaborative role and routinely work with multiple businesses and departments in order to effectively deliver
• Understands the impact of emerging technologies on functions and processes

Key skills required: 

• Analytical Skills: Demonstrates exceptionally good analytical skills, an ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives. He/she will have a demonstrated ability to perform standard analyses such as performance analyses, competitive analyses, market analyses, etc
• Finance Knowledge: Exceptional knowledge of business and corporate finance with prior experience in analyzing financial statements and preparing financial projections. Ability to interpret and flag inconsistencies and highlight areas for additional clarity will be a strength for the role
• Ms Office: Demonstrates proficiency in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint, which will be necessary for the creation of both visually and verbally engaging analyses reports and presentations, for the business’s leadership and management as well as senior strategy management
• Attention to Detail: The role requires an inherent eye for detail, ability to assimilate minutiae, mentally process data and information keeping in mind the “big picture” scenario. Ability to understand and flag inconsistencies in data/information is an added bonus
• Superb interpersonal and communication skills

Desired Qualifications: 

• Experience in financial modelling, company analysis, industry research and competitive benchmarking
• Minimum 3 – 8 years of working experience in the above-mentioned areas
• MBA / CA / Graduate degree (Engineering) from premier institutes

• Willingness to travel for short- and long-term durations
