Job Description
We are looking for an Oracle Fusion Technical Manager with extensive experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud technical architecture, integration delivery, reporting solutions, and technical team leadership. The candidate will be responsible for managing technical delivery across OIC, BI Publisher, OTBI, APIs, and related integration technologies, ensuring solution quality, performance, security, operational stability, and successful implementation outcomes.
The role requires a combination of technical expertise, solution architecture, delivery management, stakeholder engagement, team development, and production support governance.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership and Architecture
- Lead technical architecture, solution design, and delivery for Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations, reporting, data migration, and technical enhancements.
- Define integration architecture and standards using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle adapters, and other enterprise integration technologies.
- Review technical requirements and recommend scalable, secure, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Establish development standards, reusable frameworks, naming conventions, logging, error handling, security, and monitoring practices.
- Oversee technical solutions spanning Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle EBS, databases, and third-party applications.
- Provide technical direction for BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL/PLSQL, FBDI, BICC, and ESS-based solutions.
- Evaluate new Oracle Fusion capabilities, quarterly updates, integration changes, and opportunities for modernization and automation.
Delivery and Project Management
- Manage end-to-end technical delivery across implementation, enhancement, migration, and application support engagements.
- Prepare estimates, resource plans, delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.
- Monitor delivery against scope, timelines, quality expectations, SLAs, and agreed project commitments.
- Coordinate with functional leads, architects, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, security teams, and external vendors.
- Manage technical dependencies, escalations, release planning, environment readiness, and production cutover activities.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, testing evidence, approvals, and deployment controls are maintained.
- Drive root-cause analysis, problem management, technical debt reduction, and continuous service improvement.
Team and Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop technical consultants and senior consultants across OIC, reporting, APIs, and database technologies.
- Review resource requirements, allocation, skills development, utilization, and delivery capacity.
- Conduct technical interviews, evaluate candidate capabilities, and support recruitment and onboarding.
- Establish knowledge-sharing practices, technical training plans, and certification roadmaps.
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and delivery progress to client stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve escalations, and ensure timely decisions on technical dependencies.
- Contribute to solution proposals, effort estimation, presales discussions, and account growth opportunities.
Production Support and Governance
- Oversee production integration monitoring, incident management, problem management, and service-level compliance.
- Establish operational dashboards, alerting mechanisms, support procedures, and escalation paths.
- Ensure production releases follow appropriate change management, security, testing, and approval processes.
