Your work profile

The Project Manager – IT  Transformation will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering strategic workstreams within a global Finance Transformation Program for a multinational FMCG organization. The role will focus on driving successful implementation of finance systems, data, reporting, planning, and analytics initiatives while ensuring alignment across business, finance, IT, and third-party partners.

The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project plans, budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement activities to deliver transformation outcomes on time, within scope, and within budget.


Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Lead one or more projects/workstreams within the  Transformation Program.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and costs.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with overall program objectives and governance standards.
  • Track project progress and proactively address issues impacting delivery.

Finance Transformation Initiatives

Support delivery across key finance transformation areas, including:

  •  Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Management Reporting and Analytics
  • Master Data Management

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key liaison between Finance, IT, Business Functions, Shared Services, and external implementation partners.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, status reviews, and decision-making sessions.
  • Prepare and present project status reports for leadership and steering committees.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and drive alignment across multiple business functions.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
  • Develop mitigation plans and escalate critical concerns appropriately.
  • Track cross-functional dependencies and coordinate resolution activities.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and internal control requirements.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Collaborate with Change Management and Training teams to support business readiness.
  • Ensure successful deployment and adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and deployment activities.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards.
  • Conduct regular project health checks and milestone reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • MBA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience

  • 7–10+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
  • Proven experience delivering Finance or ERP transformation projects in multinational organizations.
  • Experience managing global stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
