Team Leader & Enterprise Development Expert
Post Graduate / MBA / PGDM | Min. 6 Years → Lead large-scale MSME/rural development & government programs, engage with multilateral organizations, drive cluster development and DPR preparation Language Requirement: Gujarati (Read / Write / Speak) – Mandatory | English & Hindi & Gujarati
Experience of managing and delivering large scale MSME development / Rural Development/ employability/social sector projects/ government projects / cluster development projects / CSR projects
· Experience of working with MSMEs / social sector agencies / industry bodies / government agencies / multilateral organizations towards forging tie-ups for joint government schemes
· Experience of preparation of Detailed Project Reports for new enterprise development
a. Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the PMU.
b. Laison between the HODs of the boards and corporation and Commissioner, Cottage and Rural Industry office. Ensure coordination among team members and Commissionerate including boards and corporations for the successful implementation of policy initiatives.
c. Draft various policies and SOPs for the effective implementation of existing and upcoming schemes / programs of the Commissionerate office and boards and corporations.
d. Develop a roadmap for achieving the policy's vision and objectives, focusing on livelihood enhancement, artisan income improvement, and market share growth.
e. Develop strategic frameworks to support state and national-level initiatives like Viksit Gujarat @2047 and other long-term vision documents.
f. Prepare and present concept papers for conferences e.g. NITI Aayog, Chintan Shibir etc.
g. Prepare drafts of DPRs and proposals for large scale projects e.g. P M Ekta Mall, GI Mahotsav etc.
h. Draft speeches for dignitaries, including the Hon’ble PM, CM, Cabinet Ministers, MoS and Secretary.
i. Spearhead documentation and presentations for key events e.g. Awards, National Handloom Day celebrations etc.
j. Propose and implement innovative ideas.
k. Oversee progress tracking of schemes and initiatives through regular monitoring and MIS reporting.
l. Support in the implementation of important initiatives such as P. M. Ekta Mall, GI tagging, cluster development, craft tourism etc.
m. Prepare important document, presentations, notes, speeches for the events such as G20, P. M. Ekta Mall, Vibrant Gujarat or as directed by the respective offices.
n. Ensure timely delivery of projects documentation, and policy drafts to meet deadlines and quality standards. o. Organize and lead training programs for department officials, artisans, and stakeholders to strengthen implementation capabilities.
p. Promote initiatives like PM Ekta Mall, and GI products through public forums, events, and press notes.
r. Identify skill gaps and coordinate technical and entrepreneurial training programs to bridge them.
s. Train artisans in enterprise management, including operations, customer relations, costing, and inventory management.
t. Guide artisans on contemporary product design, quality standards, and product diversification to meet market needs.
u. Help artisan enterprises register formally and comply with relevant laws (e.g., GST registration, licenses).
v. Forge partnerships with NGOs, design institutes, government agencies, and private companies to support enterprise growth.
w. Document and report the social, cultural, and economic impacts of new artisan enterprises for project stakeholders.
x. Advocate for the expansion of handicraft and handloom exports on global platforms.
y. Drive long-term goals for the sector, ensuring alignment with state and national objectives.
