The primary role of a Manager is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients’ competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable.
To do this, Transport and Mobility Manager must perform the following activities:
- Primary role of Manager would be to manage project work streams/ deliverable, client management, team management and growing business.
- Project Delivery: Understanding client requirements, and deliverable requirements; Lead client meetings and development of deliverables; demonstrate project management and coordination with relevant stakeholders etc.
- Research: Anchor sector research, opportunity tracking, client presentation preparation, client requirement analysis, EoI/ proposal/ concept note preparation etc.
- Practice Development: Support learning and development initiatives for the team/project/organization. Use domain strengths to conceptualize ideas/offerings, generate business by leveraging client relationships, identify/ generate leads, make effective pitches, etc.
- Thought Leadership: Research, analysis and delivery of thought leadership reports (global and domestic)
- Administration: Ensure compliance with due firm processes for proposals and project delivery. Responsible for billing, collections and profitability. Provide mentorship to analysts/ consultants.
Skills Required
· 10 to 15 years, private, Govt or donor agency in transport/ mobility.
· Prior consulting / advisory experience in transport sector is must
· Prior experience of interacting and working closely with Government and Donor Agencies
· Understanding of transport and mobility structures and relevant policies
· Understand the market trend/client requirements and conceptualize the offerings and closing the deal.
· Prior experience in leading a team/ group of consultants;
· Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework;
· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
· Research, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities
· Report writing, data management (qualitative & quantitative) and PowerPoint development skills
· Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently;
· Adaptability to travel and change
Qualifications
· Post-Graduation: Master’s in Transport Planning /Business Administration from a reputed institute or any equivalent degree etc.
· Graduation: Any
Should have relevant experience of 10-15 years.
