Your work profile

• Public policy and programme management professional with 5+ years of experience across government, consulting, think tanks, NGO, start-up and media ecosystems, with applied exposure to data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, project management, stakeholder consultations, public finance, and business process re-engineering.
• Strong experience in government programme analytics, data quality audits, outlier identification, reporting, evidence-based decision-making, and cross-functional coordination with government officials, EY, KPMG, Evidence Action, NIC and other stakeholders.
• Best aligned for analytics, data operations, PMO, public sector data programmes, M&E, business analysis, governance technology and data-driven transformation roles; can be positioned for Data Engineer screening by emphasizing Python, Excel, Power BI, QGIS, R, Google Colab, data quality, reporting, workflow analysis and digital governance exposure.

Key skills required

• 5+ years of professional exposure across government, development sector, public policy, consulting-linked projects, research, media, start-up and academia, including current programme management role at EDII and prior consultant role with J-PAL South Asia.
• Hands-on data analysis exposure using SPSS, Excel, QGIS, R, Python, Google Colab and Power BI, supported by a certified Executive Development Programme in Data Science from Ashoka University.
• Worked with the National Jal Jeevan Mission, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, supporting senior leadership on data quality audits and stakeholder consultations for water supply schemes.
• Identified outlier schemes and helped resolve approximately 90% defective cases, including cost overestimation and inflation discrepancies, in coordination with EY, KPMG, Evidence Action, NIC and government officials.
• Currently executing NRLM-CDP and SVEP under the Ministry of Rural Development across 14+ states, including project management, policy research, reporting, strategic communications, PR, M&E, stakeholder engagement, value-chain development, market linkages and capacity building.
• Experience in e-governance and Government Process Reengineering under the “100 Services Mission Project”, supporting workflow understanding, service delivery improvement, documentation and process analysis.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, presentation, reporting and cross-functional collaboration skills, suitable for Agile-style programme delivery environments.
• Suitable ATS keywords to retain in profile: data analysis, Python, SQL exposure, Excel, Power BI, R, QGIS, Google Colab, data quality audits, monitoring and evaluation, dashboarding, reporting, business process re-engineering, government technology, digital transformation, stakeholder management, Agile collaboration, project management.

Qualifications

• Master of Arts in Public Policy; Bachelor of Arts (Hons) English; Professional Certificate in Public Policy, Data and Behaviour Change; Professional Executive Development Programme in Data Science; international certificate course on Law and Social Sciences. The Deloitte JD mentions computer science or related field; this profile should be positioned as “data analytics and governance transformation” rather than a pure Data Engineering profile.
