About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant – Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to join our Oracle practice. The individual will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud across Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party applications.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in OIC, Oracle Fusion integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, integration patterns and technical troubleshooting, along with the ability to work closely with functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • Design, develop and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Develop integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/HCM/SCM and external applications.
  • Work on both real-time and batch integration requirements.
  • Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, FBDI, FTP/SFTP and other standard integration patterns.
  • Configure and manage OIC connections, integrations, lookups, packages and scheduled processes.
  • Implement appropriate error handling, exception management, logging and notification mechanisms.
  • Monitor integrations and troubleshoot technical issues across development, test and production environments.
  • Optimize integrations for performance, reliability and maintainability.
  • Support deployment and migration of integrations across environments.

Oracle Fusion Technical Integration

  • Develop integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party applications.
  • Work with Oracle Fusion REST/SOAP APIs, Business Events, ERP Adapter, SOAP Adapter, REST Adapter, FTP Adapter and database connectivity.
  • Understand Oracle Fusion technical architecture and integration capabilities.
  • Work with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
  • Analyze Oracle Fusion APIs and identify appropriate standard integration options.
  • Support integration requirements involving Finance, SCM and HCM modules.
  • Work on inbound and outbound interfaces, including file-based and API-based integrations.

Technical Design & Development

  • Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Technical Design Documents (TDD) for integrations.
  • Define integration architecture, data mapping and transformation logic.
  • Develop XSLT mappings and transformations as required.
  • Handle JSON, XML, CSV and other data formats.
  • Implement data validation and transformation logic within integrations.
  • Develop reusable integration components and frameworks.
  • Ensure integrations follow Oracle and Deloitte development standards and best practices.

Testing & Deployment

  • Prepare technical test scenarios and support SIT/UAT activities.
  • Perform unit testing and integration testing for developed interfaces.
  • Analyze and resolve integration defects.
  • Support data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems.
  • Coordinate deployment across development, test and production environments.
  • Support cutover, go-live and post-production stabilization activities.
  • Provide production support and root-cause analysis for integration issues.

Client & Team Interaction

  • Participate in technical workshops and requirement discussions with clients.
  • Work closely with functional consultants, solution architects and client IT teams.
  • Explain technical solutions and integration designs to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Independently manage assigned integration deliverables.
  • Guide Consultants and junior technical team members.
  • Proactively communicate risks, dependencies and technical challenges to the Manager/Senior Manager.

Practice & Business Development

  • Support RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals and solution estimation.
  • Participate in technical solutioning and client demonstrations.
  • Contribute to reusable OIC integration assets, frameworks and accelerators.
  • Support development of Oracle Cloud integration best practices within the practice.
  • Stay updated on Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and new integration capabilities.
  • Explore opportunities around Oracle Integration, automation, AI and event-driven integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years of overall technical/Oracle integration experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Experience developing integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party applications.

  • Good understanding of SDLC and deployment processes.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud, SCM Cloud or HCM Cloud integrations.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP/Fusion REST APIs and SOAP web services.
  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS) or Oracle APEX.
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with Oracle Reports, BI Publisher or OTBI.
  • Experience with middleware/integration technologies apart from OIC.
  • Exposure to Oracle Redwood and Oracle AI capabilities.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud certification.

Education
