Job Description – Senior Consultant (Infrastructure)

Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Team: Deloitte – Sports Advisory

Overview:

Deloitte’s Sports Advisory practice is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Consultant to support planning, development, and monitoring of large-scale sports infrastructure projects across Gujarat. The role involves working closely with government stakeholders, technical experts, and project partners to ensure seamless execution of multi-year infrastructure programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Project Management Unit (PMU) activities for major sports infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, urban planners, engineering consultants, and government departments to drive project milestones.
  • Track project progress, monitor timelines, identify risks, and support timely mitigation measures.
  • Support master planning, design review, and technical documentation processes.
  • Assist in drafting reports, presentations, project briefs, and progress updates for senior government officials.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, quality standards, and compliance protocols.
  • Facilitate site visits, stakeholder consultations, and technical workshops.
  • Provide insights on best practices in global sports infrastructure development.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Architecture or Urban Planning (mandatory).
  • Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in sports or large public infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling PMU responsibilities for at least two major sports infrastructure projects.
  • Strong project coordination, multi-stakeholder management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with government counterparts and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
