Job Title:  Senior Consultant | Oracle - ARCS | Ahmedabad | Finance Transformation | Business Finance

Role Summary

The Oracle ARCS Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) solutions. The individual will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to automate reconciliation processes, improve financial controls, and streamline the financial close cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to account reconciliations and financial close processes.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend Oracle ARCS best practices.
  • Configure and implement ARCS modules including:
  • Reconciliation Compliance
  • Transaction Matching
  • Period Close Compliance
  • Design reconciliation profiles, formats, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Configure transaction matching rules and auto-certification processes.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Configure Data Integration/Data Management processes.
  • Develop inbound and outbound data integrations with Oracle ERP, SAP, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, and other source systems.
  • Support application security setup, user provisioning, and workflow configuration.
  • Perform application migrations across environments using Lifecycle Management (LCM).
  • Execute monthly maintenance, enhancements, and production support activities.

Testing & Deployment

  • Prepare functional and technical design documents.
  • Develop test scripts and support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
  • Validate reconciliation balances, matching results, and workflow approvals.
  • Provide hypercare and post-go-live support.

Stakeholder Management

  • Facilitate requirement gathering workshops with business users.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, and IT teams.
  • Provide regular project status updates and issue resolution support.
  • Conduct user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • CA, CPA, CMA, MBA Finance preferred.
  • Experience in 1-3 Oracle ARCS implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of Oracle FCCS, EPBCS, EDM, or other Oracle EPM products is an added advantage.
