Oracle Procurement Implementation & Delivery
- Implement and configure Oracle Fusion Procurement Cloud solutions including:
- Purchasing
- Self Service Procurement
- Supplier Management
- Sourcing
- Procurement Contracts
- Procurement Catalogs
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Configure procurement business units, procurement agents, document styles, approval rules, and purchasing controls.
- Configure requisitions, purchase orders, blanket purchase agreements, contracts, and supplier-related processes.
- Support procurement process optimization using Oracle Cloud best practices.
- Functional Analysis & Solution Design
- Analyze business requirements and map them to Oracle Fusion Procurement functionality.
- Participate in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design workshops.
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, process flows, and test scenarios.
- Design procurement approval workflows and purchasing controls.
- Support the definition of procurement policies, business rules, and organizational structures.
- Recommend Oracle standard functionality and best practices to address business requirements.
- Supplier & Purchasing Management
- Configure and support supplier onboarding and supplier management processes.
- Support supplier qualification, registration, and supplier profile management.
- Configure purchasing categories, catalogs, pricing, and procurement controls.
- Support purchase requisition and purchase order lifecycle management.
- Assist with sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and procurement contracts.
- Support procurement reporting and spend analysis requirements.
- P2P & Cross-Functional Integration
- Support the Procurement portion of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Work closely with Oracle AP, GL, Inventory, Receiving, SCM, and OIC teams.
- Validate the flow from requisition and purchase order through receipt, invoice, and payment.
- Support integration between Procurement and external supplier or third-party systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting procurement and purchasing transaction issues.
- Testing & Deployment
- Prepare and execute unit test cases and support SIT and UAT activities.
- Validate requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, supplier transactions, approvals, and procurement accounting flows.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation during implementation and migration activities.
- Support defect analysis and resolution.
- Participate in cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Client Interaction & Collaboration
- Participate in client workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
- Work directly with procurement, sourcing, supply chain, and finance stakeholders.
- Support UAT sessions and provide functional guidance to business users.
- Demonstrate Oracle Procurement functionality and proposed solutions.
- Provide regular status updates to Managers and project leadership.
Key skills required
- 4–7 years of experience in Oracle Procurement / Oracle Cloud SCM.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Procurement Cloud.
- Experience across Purchasing and Self Service Procurement.
- Good understanding of Supplier Management and procurement processes.
- Experience working on at least one Oracle Procurement implementation or transformation program.
- Experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client communication skills.
- Experience working in a global delivery or offshore model.
