Your work profile

• Lead SAP ABAP development workstreams across SAP S/4HANA implementation, Brownfield conversion, upgrade, rollout, enhancement, and support engagements.

• Drive SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Brownfield conversion initiatives, including technical assessment, custom code analysis, remediation, testing, cutover planning, deployment, and Hypercare support.

• Perform ABAP code remediation activities to address SAP S/4HANA simplification item impacts, HANA migration requirements, obsolete object replacement, and custom code adaptation.

• Execute and lead SPAU/SPDD activities during SAP upgrade and conversion projects, including repository adjustments, data dictionary modifications, transport management, and regression testing.

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP solutions using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, SAP Fiori Extensions, BAdIs, User Exits, and the SAP Enhancement Framework.

• Develop and support RICEFW objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows, in line with business and technical requirements.

• Develop and support output management solutions using Adobe Forms and Smart Forms.

• Analyze and remediate custom developments impacted by Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Business Partner Conversion, Material Ledger, and S/4HANA data model transformations.

• Collaborate with functional and business teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and sustainable SAP technical solutions.

• Develop and support integrations with SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors, third-party applications, and legacy systems.

• Perform performance analysis, SQL optimization, code pushdown, and technical tuning of custom developments for SAP HANA databases.

• Support data migration, testing, defect resolution, cutover planning, go-live activities, deployment, and post-production stabilization.

• Drive technical innovation, code quality improvements, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives across SAP transformation programs.

Key Requirements

• 6-10+ years of SAP ABAP consulting and development experience with strong expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Proven experience delivering multiple SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion projects from assessment through Hypercare support.

• Strong expertise in ABAP code remediation, simplification item impact analysis, custom code adaptation, and S/4HANA conversion activities.

• Hands-on experience with SPAU and SPDD activities during SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, and S/4HANA conversion programs.

• Strong development expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, SAP Fiori Extensions, BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.

• Extensive experience in designing and developing RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

• Hands-on experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, and SAP integration technologies.

• Experience remediating and optimizing custom developments impacted by Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Business Partner conversion, Material Ledger, and S/4HANA data model changes.

• Strong integration experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors, third-party applications, and legacy systems.

• Strong expertise in SAP HANA performance tuning, SQL optimization, code pushdown techniques, and custom program optimization.

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, Brownfield conversion, upgrade, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.

• Ability to lead technical workshops, design discussions, code review sessions, technical assessments, and solution architecture reviews.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• SAP ABAP, SAP S/4HANA Development, or SAP S/4HANA Conversion certification is preferred.

• Certifications in SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or SAP HANA technologies will be an added advantage.

• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology, Agile delivery models, and large-scale SAP transformation programs is preferred.

• Experience in global rollouts, Brownfield transformation programs, and enterprise-wide SAP modernization initiatives will be an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), SAP development standards, and quality assurance best practices.
