Strategy & Planning Consultant

The Strategy and Planning Consultant will support APFGO/SPMU in strategic planning, programme coordination and monitoring for the successful preparation and delivery of the World Police & Fire Games 2029. The role will involve preparation of Games master plans, implementation roadmaps, progress trackers, committee review notes, presentations, risk registers and stakeholder action plans.

The consultant will work closely with APFGO, Government of Gujarat departments, Government of India stakeholders, AIPSCB, technical agencies and delivery partners to ensure timely planning, follow-up and decision support. The position requires strong analytical, documentation, coordination and government-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Support preparation and periodic updating of the WPFG 2029 Games Master Plan, project timelines, milestone trackers and implementation roadmap.

Prepare review notes, presentations, action taken reports, meeting minutes, decision logs and progress updates for senior government and committee meetings.

Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across APFGO, State Government departments, Central Government agencies, AIPSCB and external consultants/vendors.

Track risks, issues, interdependencies and pending decisions across workstreams and support timely escalation.

Assist in strategic planning for venues, sports operations, stakeholder engagement, Perth 2027 preparations, procurement planning and Games-time readiness.

Required Profile

Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration/ Sports Management or similar field with

Minimum 5 years of experience.
