Your work profile

• Administer and support Cloudera CDP/CDH clusters in production environments.
• Manage and maintain Hadoop ecosystem components including HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, Spark, and Kafka.
• Monitor cluster health, perform troubleshooting, and optimize platform performance.
• Handle cluster upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and maintenance activities.
• Manage security using Kerberos, LDAP/AD, Ranger, and TLS/SSL.
• Automate operational tasks using Shell or Python scripting.
• Support incident management, RCA, and ensure platform availability and stability.

Key skills required:

• Education : Any Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Cloudera/Hadoop administration.
• Strong experience with Cloudera Manager, CDP, and CDH.
• Solid knowledge of HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/CentOS).
• Experience with Hadoop security tools including Kerberos, Ranger, and LDAP/AD integration.
• Scripting experience in Shell and/or Python.
• Excellent troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support skills.

Good to have:

• Experience with Cloudera Data Engineering (CDE) and Cloudera Data Warehouse (CDW).
• Exposure to AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Ansible, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Cloudera certification is a plus.
