Your work profile
As a Workday Core HCM Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering, enhancing, and supporting Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. You will work closely with clients and project teams to analyze business requirements, design functional solutions, configure Workday, and support deployments across various Workday HCM workstreams.
The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Workday Core HCM, experience leading workstreams, and the ability to guide clients through solution design and business process optimization.
Key skills required:
1. Functional Design and Configuration
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Core HCM solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure and optimize Workday business processes, organizational structures, staffing models, and worker lifecycle events.
- Recommend leading practices and process improvements aligned with client objectives.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for functional workstreams and client stakeholders.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and solution design discussions.
- Provide functional guidance and recommendations to address complex business challenges.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies effectively.
3. Business Process and Security Support
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes and approval workflows.
- Support security role design, domain security policies, and user access requirements.
- Assist clients in implementing controls and governance aligned with business requirements.
4. Reporting and Analytics
- Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
- Support workforce reporting and analytical requirements.
- Partner with business users to deliver reporting solutions that support decision-making.
5. Testing and Deployment
- Lead functional testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Prepare test scenarios and support defect resolution efforts.
- Assist with deployment planning, data validation, and post-production stabilization activities.
6. AMS and Production Support
- Provide ongoing support for Workday Core HCM clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, incidents, and enhancement requests.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support Workday release management activities, including impact assessments and feature adoption recommendations.
7. Team Collaboration and Mentorship
- Collaborate with technical teams, integration consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor junior consultants and analysts.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing and capability development initiatives within the practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on Workday Core HCM implementation and/or support experience.
- Experience leading functional workstreams in Workday implementation or AMS engagements.
- Workday Core HCM Certification preferred.
