Your work profile
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Security solutions across Workday HCM and related functional modules.
- Analyze business, compliance, and audit requirements and translate them into scalable Workday security designs.
- Design and maintain security frameworks, including role-based security, user-based security groups, domain security policies, and business process security policies.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, and compliance teams to ensure secure and compliant Workday configurations.
- Support security assessments, audits, segregation of duties (SoD) reviews, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex security-related issues while ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Conduct regular security reviews, access audits, and governance activities to ensure ongoing compliance and adherence to security standards.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security for Workday modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, Learning, and Time Tracking.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, role-mapping documents, process flows, and governance artifacts.
- Support Workday release activities by evaluating security impacts and implementing required changes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and security administrators.
- Contribute to successful project delivery while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and quality standards.
Key skills required:
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Security Administration, implementation, and support.
- Minimum 4-6 years of Workday experience, including 3+ years of dedicated Workday Security experience.
- Ability to independently lead Workday Security workstreams through all phases of implementation and support engagements.

- Strong understanding of Workday organizational structures and how they interact with security configurations.
- Experience performing security audits, role reviews, access certifications, and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of Workday security troubleshooting and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Ability to create detailed security design documents, role matrices, governance frameworks, and compliance documentation.
- Experience supporting production incidents, enhancement requests, and post-production support activities.
- Understanding of Workday HCM business processes and security implications across Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent modules.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Understanding of SDLC, IT General Controls (ITGC), audit requirements, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
Good to have:

Exposure to Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, and Integration Security.
Experience working with enterprise security governance frameworks.
Preferred:
- Experience collaborating with Solution Architects, Functional Leads, and Audit teams on security design reviews and governance approvals.
- Experience delivering Workday Security solutions within implementation, optimization, or managed services environments.
- Experience leading client workshops, security design sessions, and compliance discussions.
- Proven ability to establish scalable security frameworks supporting global Workday deployments.
- Experience supporting security remediation, audit findings, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Relevant Workday certifications in Security Administration, Core HCM, Reporting, or related Workday modules are highly preferred.
