Core responsibilities
- Supporting client related engagements in the areas of Public Finance, Economics, Process and technology reforms, Public Expenditure Reforms, Monitoring & Evaluation, Budget process, data analytics reforms
- Identify opportunities and define strategies for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work
- Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
- Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
- Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
- Assist in proposal development, as requested
- Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients
Requisite core skills
- Awareness of public finance and macroeconomics
- Strong research; analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated teamwork within or outside a work setting.
- Exceptional problem-solving ability. Logical reasoning, creative thinking, comfort with numbers, and the ability to untangle complex issues.
- Team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent verbal and written English language skills
- Past experience of working with Government will be an added advantage
- Strong passion for consulting, ability to adapt and cope in a fast pace, challenging work hours
- Adaptability to long term travel and change
