Job Description – GCP DevOps Analyst

The Team

The Cloud & Shared Services team enables cloud-native engineering and DevOps excellence by designing, building, and supporting scalable platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The team works across continuous integration and deployment, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and reliability engineering to ensure secure, resilient, and high-performing cloud environments.

Your Work Profile

As a GCP DevOps Analyst, you will support day-to-day cloud platform operations and assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure on GCP. You will collaborate with senior DevOps and SRE teams to deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud workloads while learning modern DevOps best practices.

Key Skills Required

Experience

• 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Level: Analyst (Entry to Mid-Level Technical Role)

Technologies & Platforms

• Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services:
  • Compute Engine
  • Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE – basics)
  • Cloud Run
  • IAM and VPC networking
• Experience with containerization and orchestration fundamentals:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes (basic understanding)

DevOps & Automation

• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using:
  • Cloud Build
  • GitHub Actions
  • Jenkins
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Basic automation and scripting using Bash and/or Python

Operations & Monitoring

• Experience with Cloud Monitoring and Logging
• Ability to assist with incident support, deployment issues, and platform maintenance
• Documentation skills for maintaining runbooks and operational guides

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to GKE operations and infrastructure automation
• Basic understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts
• GCP certification (preferred, not mandatory)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
