Your work profile

 Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL functions, views, stored procedures, and indexes
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and execution plan analysis
• Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across databases
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to support ETL / ELT workflows
• Analyze large datasets to provide actionable business insights
• Work with Power BI datasets to support reporting and dashboards
• Support and enhance data workflows orchestrated using Apache Airflow
• Use PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics
• Troubleshoot data quality and performance issues in production environments
• Participate in database design reviews and best practices implementation

Key Skills Required :

• 1–4 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
• Strong expertise in SQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Deep understanding of:
• Database concepts (normalization, indexing, transactions, constraints)
• Functions, views, stored procedures
• Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization
• Solid experience in data analysis and handling large datasets
• Working knowledge of Power BI (data models, SQL-based datasets, visuals)
• Hands-on experience or strong exposure to:
• Apache Airflow
• PySpark
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts - OLAP
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
• Education- Any UG
