Job Summary:

Deloitte is seeking an Analyst with 2-4 years of experience in scripting (Bash, Python) and application development (Java, JavaScript). The candidate will contribute to automation initiatives, develop software components, and support operational processes to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python to support deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Assist in designing and developing applications and tools using Java and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug scripts and applications to ensure smooth operation.
• Support integration of scripts and applications into CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Document development and automation processes for team knowledge sharing.
• Engage in Agile development processes and ceremonies.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Skills:

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Java, Python, or relevant development tools.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks.

Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration is a plus.
