Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Tableau Developer with expertise in data modeling, visualization, and SQL to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports, crafting optimized data models, and leveraging data visualization best practices to transform complex data into actionable insights. Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and publish interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to meet business requirements.

Create optimized and scalable data models for reporting and analytics purposes.

Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.

Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive visual solutions.

Implement best practices for data visualization to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability of dashboards.

Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations.

Utilize Python to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes when necessary.

Optimize dashboard performance through data model improvements and query optimization.

Maintain documentation for dashboards, processes, and data models.

Stay updated on Tableau's latest features and industry best practices for data visualization.

Primary Skills:

Proficiency in Tableau for building dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing relational databases.

Experience in data modeling, including schema design and optimization.

Understanding of best practices in data visualization and user experience.

Secondary Skills:

Experience with Python for data processing, automation, or scripting.

Knowledge of database management systems like Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.

Exposure to other BI tools like Power BI is a plus.

Basic knowledge of statistical methods or machine learning concepts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

3 years of hands-on experience with Tableau, SQL, and data modeling.

Demonstrated experience in building impactful dashboards and solving complex data problems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
