Title: Assistant Manager Cloud Solutions & DevOps

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in cloud infrastructure management, automation, CI/CD implementation, containerization, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, Linux administration, and cloud-native deployment strategies. The role involves designing, implementing, automating, and supporting scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.

Provision and manage services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Lambda, SNS, and Auto Scaling.

Configure and manage Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), public/private subnets, NAT Gateways, Security Groups, and VPC Endpoints.

Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using Load Balancers and Auto Scaling Groups.

Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), including users, groups, roles, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation.

Develop reusable infrastructure modules and templates for multiple environments.

Maintain infrastructure consistency across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

CI/CD and Automation

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and CI/CD services.

Automate application deployment processes using Jenkins Pipelines and Jenkinsfiles.

Integrate source control repositories such as GitHub and Bitbucket into deployment workflows.

Manage branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and release versioning.

Containerization & Orchestration

Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.

Create Docker images and maintain Dockerfiles.

Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes clusters.

Utilize Helm Charts for Kubernetes application deployment and lifecycle management.

Configuration Management

Implement and manage configuration automation using Ansible.

Automate server provisioning, software installation, and configuration tasks.

Monitoring & Incident Management

Configure CloudWatch metrics, dashboards, logs, and alarms.

Implement custom monitoring solutions and alerting mechanisms using CloudWatch, EventBridge, Lambda, and SNS.

Analyze infrastructure performance and optimize resource utilization.

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Security & DevSecOps

Implement security best practices across infrastructure.

Perform container image vulnerability scanning using Trivy.

Conduct code quality and security analysis using SonarQube.

Manage secrets securely using Secrets Manager.

Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards.

Scripting & Automation

Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash.

Utilize Boto3 SDK for operational automation tasks.

Automate cloud resource management activities such as:

Unused EBS volume identification and cleanup

EC2 instance scheduling (start/stop)

Resource utilization reporting

Infrastructure maintenance activities

Database & Storage Management

Manage RDS databases and backup strategies.

Configure S3 bucket policies, lifecycle policies, encryption, and versioning.

Implement snapshot and backup automation using Data Lifecycle Manager.
