Your work profile
You will implement Workiva Wdesk and Wdata solutions (building Wdata queries, chains and connectors) and other automation tools, optimize processes, defining data dictionaries, develop requirements, and manage data connections, dataflows, templates and permissions. Your responsibilities include:
- Working with clients to understand business challenges and identify solutions to drive desired outcomes
- Performing current state assessment of client accounting, reporting, reconciliation, data, and algorithm capabilities, understanding the source systems and ERPs
- Developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing with specific focus on Workiva Wdesk, Wdata and integration with other tools, applications and softwares
- Using Wdata and Wdesk to create templates, connections, templates, data flows, integrations, etc
- Focus accounting and finance domain areas of reporting and data management including regulatory reporting, internal controls, global statutory reporting, enterprise data modeling, ESG
- Developing other business solutions leveraging emerging automation, cognitive, and machine learning tools.
Key skills required:
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in the following majors with relevant business, technology, data and/or analytical focused coursework.
- 2+ years of experience with Workiva Wdesk, Wdata or integrations with source systems
- Experience in SQL and system integration
- Experience in leading and developing teams
- Experience in building finance and accounting models and using purpose-built or custom-built solutions
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Should be a team player with a proactive and result oriented approach.
- Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity. Should have Good presentation & communication skills.
- Should also be well versed with MS office tools.
- Should be open and honest in communication with clients and colleagues Fluency in written & verbal English.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Business, Technology or Math/Engineering (B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science), CAs/CPAs)
- Experience with packaged technologies (e.g., Workiva)
- Project experience in areas such as process mapping, root cause/gap analysis/best fit, requirements gathering / definition development, financial modeling and value mapping
- Experience in Financial Reporting/Statutory Reporting automation
