The team
We work as an extension of our Deloitte member firms Strategy and Business Design practices and provide dedicated support throughout the project lifecycle, which includes our three key offerings of commercial growth strategy, strategic transformation and innovation
Working on international assignments involving cross-border and cross-service line teams allows you to build your networks across the vast Global Deloitte network and develop understanding of the global strategy practice standards.
The team is now developing its current capability across within the ICC in Mumbai which caters to primarily UK and Canadian Deloitte firms
Your work profile
As a Strategy Manager, you will be the day-to-day lead on industry-specific strategy engagements with our clients. You will be highly motivated and have prior TMT, Financial services, Energy & Natural resources, Healthcare, Lifesciences & Pharma or Consumer products -industry experience, and you will have a passion for addressing the challenges ideally with specific experiences in one or more of these sectors. While no two projects are the same, you will typically manage a team of analysts or consultants with support from senior colleagues with substantial industry experience, as needed. You’ll play a vital hands-on role in designing the analysis approach, distilling insights and developing client-specific strategic recommendations.
At times this will include being the bridge from strategy into delivery, and we particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience in digital transformations, alongside core strategy skills.
The nature of the work we do includes:

· Develop and validate risk measurement models for market risk, credit, market , liquidity risk , operational and non-financial risks
· Work as an Openlink Endur Expert contributing towards a particular module of work by bringing Endur package expertise and relevant business knowledge.
· You will be responsible for working with our prestigious clients and understanding their business requirements and writing optimized, efficient code to fulfill these requirements. Support all kinds of testing in the project lifecycle.
· In some scenarios, collaborate with client developers to design, build, test, and deploy the module components and integrate them with the rest of the modules
· Understand the design patterns and create low-level design of one or more modules of low to medium complexity application leveraging OO principles and design patterns
· Work in a team and help junior team members in their work. Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately
· Provide estimates for a module or functional area. Actively manages scope at the module level, and identifies alternatives if required
· Conduct policy and framework development and reviews across all risk categories in line with industry benchmarks and regulatory expectations
· Assist in development of client proposals, thought papers and adhoc research
Below skillset is desirable:
- 4-7 years of overall professional experience. Must have good experience working in the implementation of projects with complex system architectures in the Endur.
- Experience of at least 1-2 ‘live’ Endur projects with hands-on experience in OpenJVS or Open Components
- Ability to write plug-ins for extracting data from databases, custom simulations, operations scripts, nomination updates, accounting rules, etc.
- Experience in writing queries involving multiple tables, self-joins, inner and outer joins, inner queries, groups by functions, etc.
- Understand and use OO design principles to create modular, extensible, and reusable code
- Fair understanding of the ETRM/CTRM domain with experience in at least one asset class e.g. Power, Natural Gas, LNG, crude and products, etc.
- Understands the data model of Endur and is aware of key tables and columns.
- Should be clear about configurations needed to support front, mid and back-office processes Basic understanding of any cloud systems and cloud concepts – Azure, AWS, GCP
- Basic understanding of Agile scrum and Kanban methodologies. Participated actively in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retro, sprint refinement, etc
Qualifications
· Preferably MBA or equivalent Master's degree
· Knowledge of risk management and regulatory areas would be preferred eg. Market risk, Credit Risk, Stress Testing, Capital Management, ICAAP, Risk Based Supervision, Risk Modelling, Analytics
· Professional certifications like CA, CFA and FRM would be highly desirable
· Knowledge of programming on SAS, R, Python would be desirable
