Your work profile:

• We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Automation Test Engineers to join our Quality Engineering team in Bengaluru.
• This role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are passionate about software testing, automation, and delivering high-quality applications.
• You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA engineers to design, execute, and maintain automated test solutions.
• Understand business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers and project stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.
• Continuously learn and adopt new testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Key skills required:

• 0-2 years of experience
• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python.
• Understanding of API testing concepts using Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to TestNG, JUnit, or BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Internship or academic project experience in automation testing is an advantage.
