Your work profile
Key Responsibilities
1. AWS Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture
- Lead and manage AWS infrastructure projects with focus on timely and high quality delivery.
- Define and implement cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and AWS Landing Zones.
- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and automation scripting.
- Oversee networking, security, compliance, IAM governance, encryption, and audit logging across AWS.
- Manage cost optimization, performance tuning, and scalability improvements.
- Evaluate new AWS services and manage vendor relationships to inform adoption.
2. DevOps, CI/CD, and Cloud Engineering
- Lead design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy.
- Architect and manage AWS infrastructure using Landing Zones and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Oversee deployment of containerized and microservices applications on Kubernetes (EKS).
- Drive adoption of AWS-native services (Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3).
3. Observability, Monitoring & Operational Excellence
- Implement monitoring and observability frameworks using CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk.
- Ensure system reliability, alerting maturity, and proactive issue resolution.
- Prepare and present dashboards, roadmaps, and status reports to leadership.
4. Collaboration, Leadership & Governance
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams.
- Define and enforce Git branching strategies.
- Ensure adherence to AWS security best practices and compliance frameworks.
5. Support in growth of practice
-Actively participate in practice related growth activities including drafting proposal responses, hiring etc.
Must Have Skills
- Extensive experience in AWS architecture and multi-account governance.
- Strong expertise with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Shell).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, Git, and pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and orchestration.
- Deep understanding of AWS security, networking, and compliance.
- Proven leadership in cloud transformation initiatives.
Key skills required:
- 8+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or AWS Infrastructure leadership roles.
- Minimum 3 years hands-on with AWS DevOps tools.
- Experience across SDLC, Agile methodologies, and enterprise delivery.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate/Professional
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO).
- Experience leading cloud migration or modernization programs.
