Job Title:  Associate Director | D365 F&O - Technical | Bengaluru | Emerging ERP Solutions

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Technical Architect with over 12 years of experience to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in X++, integrations, data migration, and architecture design, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture for D365 F&O implementations and upgrades
• Design scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business requirements
• Define best practices for development, customization, and extensions in D365 F&O
• Architect and implement integrations using APIs, Data Entities, OData, Dual-write, and middleware (Azure services, Logic Apps, etc.)
• Oversee data migration strategy, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation
• Ensure adherence to Microsoft recommended patterns (extensions, no over-layering)
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and conduct code reviews
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and project managers
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are met

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in ERP development, with strong expertise in D365 F&O / AX (2012/2009)
• Deep knowledge of X++, AOT, Visual Studio, Lifecycle Services (LCS)
• Strong experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Power Platform)
• Hands-on experience with data migration frameworks (DMF/DIXF)
• Expertise in form extensions, custom services, batch jobs, and workflows
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Solid understanding of SQL Server and performance tuning
• Experience with security roles, data entities, and reporting (SSRS, Power BI)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multiple end-to-end D365 F&O implementations
• Knowledge of Dual-write, Dataverse, and Power Platform
• Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud-native design (Azure)
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 (Finance/Technical)
• Experience in industry domains such as Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, or Manufacturing
