Your work profile

The Associate Director – Oracle SCM is a senior leadership role within Deloitte’s Global Delivery Network (GDN), responsible for leading large-scale Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) transformation programs, driving delivery excellence, and building high-performing global teams. The role combines deep Oracle SCM expertise with strong program leadership, stakeholder management, delivery governance, and business development capabilities to support global clients in their digital supply chain transformation journeys.

  • Implement, configure, and support Oracle EBS Order Management (OM) module
  • Analyze business requirements related to:
  • Order entry
  • Pricing
  • Shipping
  • Invoicing
  • Returns (RMA)
  • Configure OM setups including:
  • Order types
  • Transaction types
  • Pricing lists and modifiers
  • Workflow processes
  • Credit checking and approvals
  • Integrate Oracle OM with:
  • Inventory (INV)
  • Shipping Execution (WSH)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Purchasing (PO)
  • Advanced Pricing (QP)
  • Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle
  • Prepare functional documents (BRD, MD050, setup documents, test scripts)
  • Conduct unit testing, system testing, UAT, and production support
  • Work with technical teams on RICEFW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows)
  • Troubleshoot order processing issues, pricing discrepancies, and invoicing errors
  • Provide end-user training and post-go-live support

 

Key skills required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or related fields.
  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Order Management
  • Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash business processes
  • Experience with Oracle EBS R12 (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, and Inventory
  • Experience in multi-org and multi-currency environments
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Delivery & Program Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large Oracle SCM transformation programs across multiple geographies and industries
  • Oversee implementation and support engagements spanning Oracle Supply Chain modules including:
  • Procurement
  • Inventory Management
  • Order Management
  • Manufacturing
  • Supply Chain Planning
  • Warehouse Management (WMS)
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Cost Management
  • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
  • Drive delivery governance, quality assurance, risk mitigation, and compliance with Deloitte delivery methodologies
  • Act as the escalation point for critical project, delivery, and client issues
  • Ensure successful program execution, budget adherence, and client satisfaction

Oracle SCM Solution Leadership

  • Provide thought leadership on Oracle Fusion SCM solutions and supply chain transformation strategies
  • Guide solution architecture and business process design across the supply chain landscape
  • Lead Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion SCM migration and modernization initiatives
  • Drive adoption of Oracle best practices, industry accelerators, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and analytics solutions
  • Support complex solution reviews and design governance activities

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with client executives, business sponsors, and supply chain leaders
  • Participate in executive steering committees, governance reviews, and strategic planning discussions
  • Partner with Oracle alliance teams and Deloitte leadership to strengthen market presence
  • Support proposals, solutioning, estimations, and pursuit activities for new business opportunities
  • Drive client value realization and long-term account growth

Global Delivery Network Leadership

  • Build, scale, and manage large offshore, nearshore, and hybrid delivery teams
  • Drive resource planning, utilization management, and workforce strategy
  • Establish delivery standards, quality frameworks, and operational excellence practices
  • Foster collaboration across Deloitte member firms and global delivery centers
  • Support large-scale program staffing and succession planning

People, Talent & Capability Building

  • Coach and mentor Managers, Senior Consultants, and Solution Architects
  • Develop future SCM delivery leaders and subject matter experts
  • Drive Oracle SCM certification and capability-building initiatives
  • Support performance management, career development, and retention programs
  • Build specialized competencies across Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Digital Supply Chain domains

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Own delivery financials, including revenue, margins, forecasting, and resource utilization
  • Drive effective scope management, change requests, and commercial governance
  • Ensure contractual compliance and delivery profitability
  • Support business case development and value realization tracking
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and delivery optimization
  • Strong leadership experience across multiple Oracle SCM pillars, including Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Inventory, Order Management, WMS, Costing, PLM, or EAM
  • Proven experience leading large global delivery teams (40–100+ resources)
  • Extensive experience in Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion SCM transformation programs
  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations, business process transformation, and delivery governance
  • Experience managing complex global implementations and support engagements
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Preferred

  • Prior experience in Big 4 consulting firms or large global system integrators
  • Experience serving clients across Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Retail, Life Sciences, High Tech, Logistics, or Industrial sectors
  • Experience with integrated SCM ecosystems involving Financials, OIC, OCI, Analytics, and AI-driven solutions
  • Oracle SCM Cloud certifications across one or more SCM pillars
  • Experience supporting large transformation pursuits and pre-sales activities
