About the Role

The role involves advising CIOs, IT leadership, and business stakeholders on enterprise architecture strategy, target operating models, technology transformation, application modernization, governance, and digital transformation initiatives across industries.

The ideal candidate should possess strong consulting, stakeholder management, architecture governance, and transformation experience, along with hands-on exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks and tooling. The candidate should be capable of driving architecture engagements independently, managing client stakeholders, mentoring teams, and contributing to business development and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture Consulting

·      Lead enterprise architecture engagements for clients across industries.

·      Define and implement enterprise architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.

·      Develop current-state and target-state architecture blueprints across business, application, data, technology, and integration domains.

·      Conduct architecture assessments, maturity assessments, and roadmap creation.

·      Define enterprise standards, architecture principles, governance frameworks, and reference architectures.

·      Support large-scale transformation programs including cloud, ERP, digital, AI, data, and platform modernization initiatives.

·      Drive rationalization initiatives for applications, technologies, and platforms.

Business & Technology Alignment

·      Work closely with business leaders, CIOs, enterprise architects, and technology teams to align IT investments with strategic priorities.

·      Translate business capabilities into technology roadmaps and architecture solutions.

·      Facilitate architecture workshops, stakeholder discussions, and design reviews.

·      Governance & Operating Model

·      Establish architecture governance mechanisms including Architecture Review Boards (ARB).

·      Define architecture processes, templates, policies, standards, and compliance models.

·      Support IT operating model and governance transformation initiatives.

·      Ensure alignment with security, risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

EA Repository & Tooling

·      Manage and maintain enterprise architecture repositories and models using EA tools.

·      Drive adoption of architecture tools and governance workflows.

·      Ensure proper documentation of architecture artifacts, standards, roadmaps, and dependencies.

Delivery Leadership

·      Lead and mentor junior architects and consultants.

·      Manage workstreams, project plans, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.

·      Ensure quality assurance of architecture deliverables and consulting outputs.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cloud, cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, and application teams.

Business Development & Practice Building

·      Support proposal development, RFP responses, and client presentations.

·      Contribute to thought leadership, whitepapers, and internal capability development.

·      Participate in solution shaping and architecture advisory discussions during pre-sales activities.

Required Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

·      MBA or Master’s degree preferred.

·      TOGAF certification is mandatory.

·      Additional certifications in cloud or architecture domains are preferred.

Required Experience

·      9–12 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, IT Strategy, or Technology Consulting.

·      Experience working with consulting firms or client-facing transformation engagements.

·      Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance, and operating models.

Experience in at least one or more of the following:

·      Application portfolio rationalization

Strong working knowledge of:
