Job Title: Quality Engineering – Pre-Sales & Business Development Specialist

Experience Level: 15–18 years (with minimum 7–9 years in Pre-Sales, Business Development, Extensive GTM roles in Quality Engineering/Assurance domain)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven QE Pre-Sales & Business Development Specialist to lead strategic pursuits, build go-to-market initiatives, and support campaign execution across our Quality Engineering offerings. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, enabling sales success, and showcasing the value of our QE services including Test Automation, Performance Engineering, Cloud Testing, and Digital Assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales & Bid Management
- Lead RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, and effort estimation for QE pursuits.
- Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, and Alliances teams to create winning proposals and technical presentations.
- Conduct client workshops, solution demos, and POCs across areas such as Functional Testing, Automation, Performance, Data Validation, etc.
- Support pricing strategy, risk evaluation, and effort estimation models.
Go-to-Market & Campaign Management
- Design and execute go-to-market plans for key QE service offerings (e.g., Cloud Assurance, DevOps Quality, AI-led Testing).
- Plan and execute demand generation campaigns with Marketing and Sales Enablement teams.
- Manage QE-focused webinars, events, and customer roundtables.
- Track campaign KPIs and conversion metrics to influence strategy.
Business Development Enablement
- Identify new prospects and upselling opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.
- Build competitive differentiators, win themes, and value propositions aligned to client pain points.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and support deal closures with high-quality presales support.
- Drive partnership-based GTM initiatives with tool vendors (e.g., Tricentis, Micro Focus, SmartBear, OpenText, BrowserStack, LambdaTest, etc.).
Thought Leadership & Asset Development
- Contribute to creation of collaterals: case studies, whitepapers, solution brochures, and battle cards.
- Create re-usable accelerators, pitch decks, and ROI calculators for faster sales cycles.
- Develop industry-specific QE playbooks (e.g., BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, etc.).
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong QE domain knowledge: Functional, Automation (Selenium, Tosca, UFT), Performance (JMeter, LoadRunner, k6), API, Mobile & Cloud Testing.
- Pre-sales excellence: Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs, solution design, client workshops, and bid defense.
- Go-to-market strategy: Experience in launching QE offerings or campaigns aligned with market trends.
- Business acumen: Strong understanding of deal lifecycle, pricing models, and competitive positioning.
- Marketing collaboration: Experience working with marketing to build demand gen campaigns, events, and content.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Tricentis Tosca, TestSigma, Azure DevOps, Salesforce, or Workday Testing tools.
- Experience working in Global Delivery Models (GDM) and familiarity with Agile, DevOps, or SAFe environments.
- Certification in ISTQB, Agile Testing, or Pre-Sales/Consulting disciplines.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-driven test automation platforms.
