As an experienced Assitant Vice president at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individual delivery of high-quality work products and deliver cloud operate projects.

 

Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture

  • Lead and manage Azure infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Define and implement cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and Landing Zone strategies.
  • Oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, and automation.
  • Drive cost optimization, performance tuning, and scalability initiatives across cloud environments.
  • Ensure security and compliance through identity management, encryption, audit logging, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Application) to align infrastructure with business goals.
  • Mentor and guide teams on cloud technologies, automation, and operational excellence.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new Azure services for adoption.
  • Establish monitoring and observability frameworks using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
  • Prepare and present strategic roadmaps and status reports to senior leadership.
  • DevOps, CI/CD, and Cloud Engineerin.

Key Skills :

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services.
  • Architect and manage Azure infrastructure using Landing Zones and IaC tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep).
  • Oversee deployment of microservices in Kubernetes (AKS), including orchestration and Helm chart management.
  • Drive adoption of Azure-native services such as Azure Functions, App Service, AKS, Storage, SQL.
  • Implement observability frameworks using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Define and enforce branching strategies aligned with Agile release cycles and enterprise governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices across development, QA, and operations.
  • Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with Azure security best practices and governance standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and drive their adoption.

Support in growth of practice

  • Actively participate in practice related growth activities including drafting proposal responses, hiring etc.

Desired qualifications

  • Education- Any Bachelor's/ Master's
  • Extensive experience in Azure architecture and infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-subscription Azure environments, Landing Zones, and governance.
  • Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible) and scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
  • Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD tools, Git, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, YAML/JSON).
  • Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • 8–14 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related leadership roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools and Azure cloud services.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise delivery models.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator.
  • Exposure to cloud security and compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO).
  • Experience in managing large-scale cloud migration or transformation projects.
