The team

The Deloitte South Asia strategic growth team serves as a central pillar driving growth and transformation within DSA, spanning several business lines and various technology functions.  We are established as a centralized team collaborating across consulting, implementation, and operation to maintain and enhance client value offerings and services. We innovate conventional approaches, leveraging Deloitte technology, differentiated domain expertise, intellectual property, talent, and capacity to embed continuous advantage and deliver enhanced business value.

In this team, our focus is on catering to the unique needs and preferences of clients in the South Asia region. Your role within this dynamic team is essential for establishing networks and relationships across the client stakeholder ecosystem and ensuring service fulfillment. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Deloitte leadership and stakeholders dedicated to the client. Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of DSA business growth for the specific client.

Your work profile

 This role sits at the intersection of:

• Enterprise SAP transformation
• Python-based engineering
• Enterprise Java (Java Springboot, Angular, React, Node.Js)
• Agentic AI product development using LLMs
• Client-facing consulting & solution architecture

You will help clients transition toward AI-first, touchless operations by embedding LLM-powered agents into SAP ecosystems. Should be capable of  Designing and implementing AI-powered SAP automation solutions,  Build LLM-driven copilots and autonomous agents for enterprise workflows,  Reduce operational costs through intelligent orchestration,  Drive innovation in SAP Operate and digital transformation engagements.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 SAP Consulting & Development

• Basic Knowledge on SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BTP, Fiori, or relevant functional modules).
• Develop enhancements, integrations, and custom solutions using ABAP / RAP / OData services / SAP BTP BPA Workflows
• Design and optimize business processes within SAP landscapes.
• Develop AI copilots for:
• Incident triage & RCA
• Code generation (ABAP / Fiori)
• Business process automation
• Ticket classification & knowledge retrieval
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

🔹 Python & AI Engineering

• Develop backend services and automation scripts using Python.
• Integrate SAP systems with AI services using REST APIs and middleware.
• Build data pipelines for AI-driven insights and automation.
• Develop scalable microservices to support AI-enabled enterprise workflows.

🔹 Agentic AI & LLM-Based Product Development

• Design and implement LLM-powered AI agents for enterprise use cases.
• Build multi-step reasoning workflows using frameworks like:
• LangChain / LlamaIndex
• OpenAI / Azure OpenAI / Claude APIs
• Develop prompt engineering strategies for structured SAP data use cases.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Develop AI copilots / autonomous agents for:
• Incident analysis
• Business process automation
• Code generation
• Ticket triaging
• Ensure governance, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.

Required Skills

✅ Technical Skills

• Strong SAP knowledge (Functional or Technical).
• Strong ABAP and SAP BTP experience preferred.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience integrating APIs (REST, OAuth, JWT).
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI / Azure OpenAI / Anthropic etc.).
• Understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, Git, containerization).

✅ Enterprise Java & Backend-Frontend-DB Engineering skills

• Develop enterprise-grade backend services using Java Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices that connect SAP systems with AI platforms.
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SAP Identity).
• Design scalable middleware services for enterprise automation.
• Ensure high availability, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience in handling SQL & No-SQL Databases
• Experience in deployment of services in Hyperscalar PaaS (Cloud Foundry / Kubernetes)

✅ AI & Architecture Skills

• Experience designing AI-powered enterprise applications.
• Understanding of Agentic AI concepts (tools, planners, memory, orchestration).
• Knowledge of prompt engineering best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP preferred).
• Understanding and Hands-On experience in Agent and workflow builders such as n8n

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certification (S/4HANA / BTP / Fiori).
• Experience with SAP AI Core or SAP BTP AI services.
• Experience in building internal AI platforms or copilots.
• Exposure to enterprise security & compliance in AI systems.
• Agile / Scrum experience.
