Your work profile
- Participate in OMS implementation, enhancement, and production support projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
- Configure and support OMS workflows, including order capture, fulfillment, inventory allocation, shipping, returns, cancellations, and exchanges.
- Assist in solution design discussions and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications.
- Support requirement clarification sessions and walkthroughs.
- Ensure functional solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with Development, QA, and Integration teams during project execution.
- Support integrations with ERP, WMS, CRM, Payment Gateway, and third-party systems.
- Assist in API validation and end-to-end functional testing.
- Help troubleshoot functional and integration-related issues.
- Prepare and execute functional test cases and test scenarios.
- Support SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and defect validation.
- Track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Validate fixes and ensure production readiness.
- Provide functional support for production issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
- Support change requests, system enhancements, and release activities.
- Maintain project documentation and knowledge repositories.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Senior Consultants, Developers, QA, and Project Managers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, project meetings, and sprint planning sessions.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
Key skills required
- 3–6 years of IT experience with exposure to Order Management Systems.
- Experience in OMS implementation, enhancement, testing, or production support projects.
- Retail/eCommerce domain experience is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps concepts.
- Familiarity with microservices-based applications.
- Knowledge of incident management and release processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
