Your work profile:

• Looking for Consultant with strong expertise in test facility management applications within the automotive industry.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with tools such as AVL TFMS and a solid understanding of test bench, test facility management.
• This role requires the ability to evaluate IT solutions, conduct competitor analysis, and guide strategic decisions on buy vs. build approaches.
• The consultant must also be capable of working quickly and effectively during short discovery phases, delivering actionable insights under tight timelines.

Key skills required:

Domain Expertise

• Provide subject matter expertise on test facility management systems (e.g., AVL TFMS) and related automotive applications.
• Understand and appreciate test bench preparation workflows to ensure IT solutions align with operational needs.

Rapid Discovery & Analysis

• Conduct fast-paced discovery sessions to capture requirements and constraints.
• Deliver quick assessments and recommendations without compromising quality.

IT Strategy & Advisory

• Translate business needs into IT application requirements and propose innovative solutions.
• Drive technology adoption strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Competitor & Market Analysis

• Perform benchmarking of test facility management applications and emerging technologies.
• Prepare concise reports highlighting gaps and opportunities.

Decision Making

• Lead buys vs. build evaluations for IT applications considering cost, scalability, and long-term value.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and procurement teams for seamless solution integration.
• Act as a trusted advisor for process improvement and digital transformation.

Qualifications:

• B. E. / B. Tech / MCA / M.E / M. Tech / MSc in Computer Science.
