Your work profile

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer with strong expertise in building and managing cloud-native platform on AWS. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AWS, Terraform, Python, and EKS (Kubernetes on AWS), with a proven track record in implementing automation, scalable infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working closely with cross-functional teams. 

Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Development – Design, develop, and maintain automated pipelines using GitHub Actions for Azure-based applications.

• Reusable Workflows – Create and maintain reusable GitHub Actions workflows and templates to standardize build and deployment processes across projects.

• Artifact Management – Set up and maintain artifact repositories and package management systems (e.g., Azure Artifacts, GitHub Packages) to streamline versioning and dependency management.

• Template Creation – Develop GitHub Action templates for building, testing, and deploying applications across multiple environments (Dev, QA, Staging, Prod).

• DevSecOps Integration – Collaborate with security teams to embed security checks, vulnerability scans, and compliance audits into CI/CD workflows.

• Performance Optimization – Continuously evaluate and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment frequency, reduce lead time, and minimize failure rates.

• Azure Deployments – Manage and optimize pipelines for applications hosted on Azure (App Services, AKS, etc.).

• Infrastructure as Code – Implement and manage IaC using Terraform for automated environment provisioning.

• Pipeline Monitoring – Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability and performance of CI/CD pipelines.

• Security & Compliance – Integrate best practices such as secrets management, code scanning, and compliance checks into workflows.

• Documentation – Maintain detailed documentation of CI/CD processes, configurations, and best practices.

• Version Control & Release Management – Use Git branching strategies, manage releases, and implement rollback strategies for zero-downtime deployments.

 

 
Requirements:

 

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, AKS, Azure Artifacts).

   Proven experience in GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development and automation

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.

• Experience with DevSecOps practices and security tooling in CI/CD.

• Solid understanding of Git, branching strategies, and version control best practices.

• Expertise in automating build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for pipeline failures and deployment issues.

• Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

 

Preferred:

• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of other CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) is a plus.

• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. 

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Bangalore
  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
