Job Title:  Consultant | Camunda | Bengaluru | Artificial Intelligence & Data | Robotics Process Automation

Job Summary:

 

We are looking for a Camunda Developer with 3–5 years of software development experience and hands-on exposure to workflow automation and BPMN-based process development.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, integrating, and supporting business processes using Camunda, with a strong focus on BPMN, Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise application integration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain business workflows using Camunda 7/8 and BPMN 2.0.
  • Translate functional requirements into BPMN process models.
  • Develop Java/Spring Boot workers and service integrations.
  • Implement REST API integrations and external service calls.
  • Work with process variables, service tasks, user tasks, gateways, events, timers, and error handling.
  • Develop and maintain DMN decision tables.
  • Implement process retries, exception handling, and timeout mechanisms.
  • Integrate Camunda processes with databases, APIs, messaging systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Write unit and integration tests for workflow implementations.
  • Troubleshoot process execution and integration issues.
  • Use Camunda monitoring/operations tools to investigate failed or stuck processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow development standards.
  • Support CI/CD-based process deployment.
  • Work closely with business analysts, QA, and senior developers.

 

 Required Skills:

  •  3–5 years of software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Camunda.
  • Good knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN
  • Java and Spring Boot.
  • REST APIs and JSON.
  • SQL and relational databases.
  • Git.
  • understanding of microservices.
  • understanding of asynchronous/event-driven processing

 

Good to Have:

  • Camunda 8 / Zeebe experience.
  • Kafka or another messaging platform.
  • Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals.
  • Camunda Connectors.
  • Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Basic understanding of AI/LLM integrations.

 

Expected Capability:

The candidate should be able to independently develop and troubleshoot individual Camunda processes and integrations under the guidance of a senior developer or architect.
