Job Title: Consultant | Digital Privacy and Trust | Bengaluru | Cyber Strategy & Transformation

Your key responsibilities:
- Analyze current data privacy measures and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and audits to identify risks
- Provide expertise and guidance on data protection laws and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed privacy by design principles
- Respond to data breach incidents and implement corrective actions
- Conduct training sessions for employees on data privacy best practices
- Evaluate third-party vendors for data privacy compliance
- Manage data subject access requests and privacy inquiries
- Prepare and maintain records of data processing activities
- Monitor and assess data protection risks on an ongoing basis
- Develop incident response plans to address data privacy incidents
- Coordinate with legal teams on data privacy matters
- Prepare reports and presentations on data privacy compliance status
- Define RoPA and DPIA for entire ecosystem of personal data and their inter-relations across that ecosystem.
- Design and implement data security technology, such as tokenization, format preserving encryption, database activity monitoring, information rights management.
- Provide insights on understanding of new and existing information security threats; evaluate recommend and implement IT security of the new IT Infra systems related to data privacy and protections solutions.
- Recommend improvements for the data privacy and protection process, and data breach incident response plan.
Skills and Attributes for success:
- Experience with Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) or Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA)
- Familiar with domestic and global privacy laws, regulations, and standards especially data privacy law such as Indonesian PDP/European GDPR, DIFL, CCPA, Singapore PDPA, etc.
- Knowledge of any Data Security Solution tools, which includes tokenization, encryption, anti-malware and related software. database activity monitoring, file monitoring, encryption such as Voltage, SecuPi, etc.
- A thorough understanding of data privacy frameworks
- Strong computer literacy and an understanding of
- Excellent analytical, strategic and communication skills and the ability to present ideas effectively.
- Familiar with Data Management and Privacy, e.g OneTrust, Hi Trust, TrustArc, Collibra, BigID
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, or related disciplines.
- Team player, self-starter, and can positively adapt to change.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing data privacy programs
- Strong understanding of data privacy principles and best practices
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and technologies
