Job Title:  Consultant | Financial Services | Bengaluru | Finance Transformation

·      Support ESG Management in producing fair, balanced, accurate, and regulation-compliant external ESG disclosures, in line with evolving global standards. 

·      Support the integration of ISSB and other emerging ESG disclosure requirements, working closely with senior team members and Group Regulatory Policy. 

·      Assist in preparation, execution, and documentation of interim and year-end ESG disclosures with a strong focus on data integrity, accuracy, and control.

·      Assist with coordination of external auditor assurance reviews and preparation of supporting materials.

·      Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of processes, controls, and audit trails for ESG disclosures, address queries, and ensure effective communication. 

·      Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and efficiency improvements in ESG reporting. 

·      Apply internal controls and compliance requirements, assess operational risks, and ensure decisions reflect legal, regulatory, and market conditions. 

·      Stay updated on industry and regulatory developments in ESG reporting and provide recommendations to enhance reporting practices. 

·      Support project management of ESG deliverables and maintain assurance documentation, processes, and audit trails

·      Identify, escalate, and resolve operational risks and areas of concern in timely consultation with management and relevant departments.  

·      Experience (internship or up to 3 years) in Finance within a major institution, with exposure to reporting and data analysis.

·      Interest in ESG topics and willingness to learn about evolving disclosure requirements

·      Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

·      Good proactive communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

·      Organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

·      Commercial outlook – Ability to connect financial/ESG data with performance drivers and ‘real world’ events.

·      Highly motivated, diligent, collaborative, personable and capable of working independently with sound judgment.

·      Skilled at prioritising tasks, resolving issues, and addressing emerging risks effectively.
