Your work profile

• Module Configuration: Lead the setup of tax regimes, rates, rules, jurisdictions, and reporting codes within the Oracle Fusion Tax module. This involves detailed configuration for multi-country and multi-legal entity environments.
• Implementation Lifecycle: Participate in all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, gap analysis, functional design documentation (FDGs), configuration, testing (SIT and UAT), and post-go-live support (hyper-care).
• Third-Party Integration: Manage integrations between Oracle Cloud Financials (AP, AR, PO, OM) and external tax calculation engines like Vertex O Series, Avalara, or native country-specific reporting tools.
• Business Process Optimization: Translate complex global tax requirements into streamlined Oracle Fusion Cloud processes and provide expert advice on achieving operational efficiency while maintaining compliance.
• Reporting & Compliance: Develop and maintain tax-related reports using OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Publisher to meet statutory and audit requirements (e.g., VAT returns, WHT certificates).
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide L2/L3 functional support, performing root cause analysis for production incidents related to tax calculations, using basic SQL queries and data analysis tools like FBDI (File-Based Data Import) to resolve issues. 

 Key skills required

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on order management, supply chain, or related enterprise systems. Experience on MAO, Sterling OMS, BY OM, Fluent Commerce will be preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading requirements elicitation and specification for complex functional areas.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong collaboration across business and technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to testing lifecycle and UAT execution preferred.
• Experience with Agile delivery methods and tools (Jira, Confluence).
