Job Title: Senior Consultant – Generative AI (GenAI)

Location: PAN India (Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Mumbai / Gurugram / Pune)

Experience: 5–9 years

Role Overview

• Lead design and delivery of enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions across industries.
• Drive AI-led transformation initiatives including LLM applications, intelligent automation, and AI-powered decision support systems.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate use cases into scalable GenAI architectures.

Key Responsibilities

GenAI Strategy & Solutioning

• Identify and shape high-value GenAI use cases across business functions (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Risk, etc.).
• Design end-to-end GenAI architectures including LLM orchestration, RAG frameworks, and enterprise integrations.
• Lead PoCs, MVP development, and production-grade implementations.
• Provide thought leadership on GenAI adoption roadmap and operating model.

LLM Application Development

• Develop and optimize applications using Large Language Models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, etc.).
• Implement advanced prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Work with embeddings, vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate), and knowledge graphs.
• Integrate GenAI solutions with enterprise systems via APIs and microservices.

AI Engineering & Cloud Deployment

• Deploy scalable AI applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Build MLOps / LLMOps pipelines for monitoring and performance tracking.
• Ensure security, scalability, latency optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Leverage containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsible AI & Governance

• Implement guardrails for bias mitigation, hallucination control, and data privacy.
• Ensure alignment with Responsible AI frameworks and regulatory requirements (GDPR, DPDP Act India).
• Conduct AI risk assessments and governance documentation.

Client & Delivery Leadership

• Lead client workshops and solution design discussions.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and business cases.
• Manage small teams of consultants and developers.
• Ensure adherence to Deloitte delivery excellence standards.
• Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and practice development initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Programming: Python (mandatory), JavaScript (preferred).
• Frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face.
• Cloud AI services: Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI.
• Databases: SQL/NoSQL, Vector databases.
• Strong understanding of NLP, ML fundamentals, and AI system design.

Required Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or AI Engineering.
• Proven hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based applications.
• Experience in enterprise AI transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consulting or Big 4 environments.
• Exposure to domain-specific AI solutions (Banking, Telecom, Healthcare, Manufacturing).
• AI/Cloud certifications (Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML Specialty, etc.).
