About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with hands-on experience in building scalable microservices, high-performance APIs, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Golang and Python, experience with distributed systems, and a passion for designing reliable, secure, and performant backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend microservices using Golang (Go Fiber) and Python (FastAPI).
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs with robust middleware, validation, authentication, rate limiting, and error handling.
  • Develop event-driven distributed systems using Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication between services.
  • Implement concurrency using Goroutines, channels, and worker pools to improve application throughput and performance.
  • Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, aggregation pipelines, and profiling in MongoDB and MySQL.
  • Integrate Redis caching to reduce latency and improve application performance under high traffic.
  • Design and implement secure authentication and authorization using Keycloak, JWT, OAuth 2.0, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment on Kubernetes.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based workflows.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain backend services on AWS (EC2, S3).
  • Write unit and integration tests using GoTest and Pytest to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Golang and Python.
  • Experience with Go Fiber, FastAPI, and RESTful API development.
  • Good understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and AWS.
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms including JWT, OAuth 2.0, and Keycloak.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and Agile software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing healthcare or other mission-critical applications.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven system design.
  • Understanding of cloud-native application development and deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
