Your work profile

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for scalable enterprise applications.
• Develop cloud-native and distributed systems following microservices architecture.
• Implement secure, performant, and resilient services.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Integrate messaging solutions like Kafka.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Monitor application health using logging and monitoring tools.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and reliability best practices

Primary Skills

• Rich experience in Building and setting up new development environment and infrastructure

in Azure Cloud with Terraform

• Good understanding of Kubernetes, containers and Kubernetes networking concepts

• Good understanding of any of scripting language such as Python which improves

automation

• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes using Azure

DevOps and CI/CD processes

• Understanding of high available Microservices backend systems

• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results

• Experience on ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’

• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market

• Working closely development team and complement them in development activities

• Good experience in APM and Incident Management tools, Datadog and Jira Service

Management will be a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and set up end to end monitoring & observability across OTA offboard toolchain,

following the MIC Reliability Engineering best practices

• Build the right infrastructure for various programs along with development teams by doing

capacity planning and design consultation

• Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts

• Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in

performance tuning and fault finding

• Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release

procedures

• Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives

• Deploy updates and fixes

• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience

• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems

• Provide technical support to resolve the production issues and perform root cause analysis

• Develop scripts to automate visualization
