Job Summary:

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Analyst with 5-8 years of experience in full-stack development using Java and Node.js, combined with expertise in SAP ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) for developing cloud-native SAP applications. The candidate will work on designing, building, and deploying scalable SAP solutions aligned with modern SAP Cloud Platform technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend and full-stack applications using Java and Node.js.
• Design and implement SAP ABAP Cloud applications using Steampunk environment and RAP framework.
• Build and consume OData services to support SAP Fiori/UI5 front-end integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and ensure adherence to SAP cloud development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Java, Node.js, and ABAP Cloud applications.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Document technical designs, development processes, and best practices.
• Participate in Agile methodologies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

• 2 – 4 years of experience with Java and Node.js development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) and RAP framework.
• Experience developing OData services and integrating with SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and related tools.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to Agile development environments.

Skills:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Java, SAP ABAP Cloud, or related SAP technologies.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, SAP BTP).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as SAP Fiori/UI5, Angular, or React.
