Job Description – Java Fullstack

Role Summary

The SAP BPC Senior Consultant will lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation solutions. The role requires deep technical and functional expertise in SAP BPC Standard/Embedded (or BPC NW/MS), strong understanding of financial processes, and the ability to collaborate with finance stakeholders to convert business needs into scalable planning and consolidation models. The consultant will act as a solution owner and guide teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop backend services using Node.js (Express/Nest.js).
  • Build responsive, component-driven UIs using React.js / Next.js.
  • Implement reusable components, state management (Redux/Hooks), and front-end optimizations.
  • Build & consume RESTful/GraphQL APIs.

🔹 Application Design & Implementation

  • Translate functional requirements into technical designs and code.
  • Work on microservices-based architecture and modular development.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and security in coding practices.

🔹 Cloud & DevOps Support

  • Deploy applications on AWS / Azure / GCP (working knowledge required).
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Use Docker & container-based deployments (basic to intermediate exposure).

🔹 Quality & Testing

  • Write unit and integration tests (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.).
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best coding standards.
  • Debug and troubleshoot application issues across the stack.

🔹 Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work with UX designers, architects, QA, and cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, standups).
  • Prepare technical documentation and support UAT & production rollout.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in BPC Embedded on BW/4HANA or S/4 integration.
  • Exposure to Group Reporting migration or transformation projects.
  • SAP BPC or S/4 Finance Certification preferred.
  • Experience working in complex multinational consolidation environments.
