Your work profile

• We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Test Engineer with strong expertise in UI, API, and automation testing.
• The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing and developing automation frameworks using Java Selenium, Playwright, and API automation tools.
• The candidate will play a key role in ensuring application quality through continuous testing practices integrated with modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Test Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
• Develop automated API test suites using Rest Assured, Postman, Karate, or equivalent tools.
• Build reusable test utilities, libraries, and automation components.
• Execute regression, smoke, sanity, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.

API & Backend Testing

• Validate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Verify business logic, request/response payloads, headers, authentication mechanisms, and error handling.
• Perform data validation between APIs, databases, and UI applications.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in continuous testing activities during deployment cycles.
• Analyze pipeline failures and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Database Testing

• Perform SQL-based validations and backend data verification.
• Validate data integrity across interconnected systems.
• Conduct end-to-end transaction testing involving database layers.

Collaboration & Quality Assurance

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support defect triaging and root cause analysis activities.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, automation reports, and execution dashboards.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to ensure quality deliverables.

Key skills required

• 3-6 years of experience
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with Playwright automation.
• API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
• Jenkins CI/CD integration.
• Git/GitHub/Bitbucket.
• SQL and database testing.
• Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Azure or AWS cloud exposure.
• Docker fundamentals.
• BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Basic performance testing using JMeter.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
